The Holy Family School, Rawalpindi with the collaboration of Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health & Nutrition Program-Rawalpindi and the Friend’s Foundation, has celebrated the International Day of Midwife on 10th May, 2016 at the District Health Development Centre Rawalpindi-EDO Health Office. Overall 62 participants, including 30 deployed CMWs, 20 under trainee CMWs, 05 Midwifery tutors and 07 office staffs attended the event
The event aimed to celebrate IDM, provide refresher training session on reproductive health and distribute award to the high achievers in CMW program-Punjab. The emphasize was made on sharing professional experiences by the midwives and then translates the information in the case studies for teaching and learning. The awards were distributed to the first three-position among CMWs by the DHO Rawalpindi and CEO of Friends Foundation.
