On 7th August 2026, a fruitful community-based awareness session was conducted on the importance of breastfeeding, on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week. The event was arranged at the remote village of Shamarote, Chakarkot Jeglote, in collaboration with AKRSP and the District Health Office (DHO), Gilgit. The session was conducted by Gulrehan, Senior Midwife, designated as Public Health Specialist.
