MAP

WHO Pakistan has conducted a three-day TOT for midwives and gynecologist across Pakistan on the new launch tool “Labour Care Guide (LCG)” in Islamabad from November 29 to December 1, 2022. Midwifery Nominations for the training was made by Society of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (SOGP) and Midwifery Association of Pakistan (MAP).

MAP has nominated twenty brilliant midwives from service, administration and academia to this TOT from across the country. The training was led by international trainers (one midwife and one doctor) from WHO-HQ and assisted by the WHO-Pakistan office team. Midwives made a very effective learning and remained motivated to implement and disseminate the learning of the TOT. Here are some glimpses of the workshop:
