Objectives of MAP

Assist the government and Pakistan nursing council in developing a human resource plan for training and utilization of midwives.

Ensure training of specialized midwifery teachers

Improve standards of midwifery education and practice both in the public and private sector.

Provide refresher and in service training to its members working in any field of maternal health.

Lobby for a proper career structure and better working conditions of the midwives.

Safeguard the rights of licensed midwives to practise their professional in a health facility or in the community

Safeguard the rights of the women for safe maternity services
